What do they do exactly in terms of strategy services in London (commercial DD, corp. strat, business unit strat, market entry strat, market positiong strat etc.)?Who do they work for?Who do they compete against?Thanks

Do a bit of strategy work but fail to win a lot of it against the big strat firms. The ambition is definately there but the brand for strategy isn't.Have got a few senior folk in now from the strat firms, whether they can turn it around or not remains to be seen. There's also a lot if unmerrited arrogance in the team but that could have been the few bad apples I encountered.

Unmerrited arrogance as in : "we're as good as MBBB, so lets only bid against them. And Big 4 is just beancounting wannabe strat practices".? But don't they end up getting caught in the middle, because they neither have the brand for competing with MBBB, nor the client relationship as big 4 to win e.g. commercial due diligence work. So what do they acutally do (sector vs. function focus)?

don't they just sell big bespoke computer systems and websites with tons and tons of associated 'services' (consultancy) to big companies like sainsburys?
