Guys, please can you advise.I have 5 years of IT experience with 3 years specific in Architecture. I am going to attend an interview at IBM this week. Please can you advise pay band and any specific benefits I should look for.I would highly appreciate your help on pay band according to the above profile. I don't want to start at low. Realistically, what other people are receiving having a similar profile. Thanks,Satya

Satya,Though it is used in France (and idk in UK), I hope this might be helpful for you...There are several bands in IBM :- below 6 : forget it- 6 - 7 : start here for Architect / Senior Architect (3-6 years) : no incentive(moving from 7 to 8 is difficult)- 8 : Equivalent to Managing Architect : % of 10 % of your salary incentive --> if you are earning 50 000 €, your incentive baseline will be based on 10 % of 50 000 = 5000 €. According to your results, a % of 5000 € wil be awarded.- 9 : Senior Managing Consultant- 10 : Business Exe- Equivalent of 10 + : ExecutivesIncentive varies according to your Business LIne (software, GBS, GTS...). Best is to belong to Software BL.GBS has poor results... anyway as EMEA has also : you won't have interesting incentives, especially in GBS Usually, 30 years old architect with some experience = band 7...That is all i know.Good luck,An old french consultant
