I have an offer from one of the big 4 (PwC/KPMG/Del/E&Y) as a senior manager (consulting) in their Melbourne office. I have 10 years consulting experience and would look to move to Director level within the next two years.I'm really not sure about the salary I've been offered (seems low). I've had a look at the usual sources (glassdoor, forums, etc) but I'm none the wiser.I would love to hear from people who know that market well: what's a fair salary (incl. super) for someone in my position. I would say the market rate is somewhere between A$140K p.a and A$160K p.a.

sounds about right inc super, for 10 yrs you should be pushing for the 160 end of that scale, maybe higher if you can get it. director would be ~180k and up i think. out of interest are you transferring from abroad or are you a melburnian moving firm?Some firms may well offer additional bonuses (e.g. "Hot Skills" or end of year) on top of that, but usually with conditions attached.i see you mention the big 4, any reason you haven't looked at Accenture?
