So now, they are bringing their overpriced wisdom and expertise gained from the some of the most marvellous c0ck ups in UK government history to a charity for the blind:http://www.thirdsector.co.uk/news/1016821/Guide-Dogs-hires-consultants-payment-results-basis/Do these guys have no scruples?

Most other decent companies would do this sort of work pro-bono. Now that PA can't milk the public sector anymore, they have turned to the charity sector

I'm a charity - please provide names of these companies and the great work they have done for free. I wanna get me some of this pro-bono work!P.S. Never worked for PA & never likely to but please just let this boring PA bashing theme on here die.

ex-PA, as you well know if you really used to work there, PA does do pro-bono work for charities.Isn't there somewhere else you can take that clearly very huge chip on your shoulder?

Wow ! Isn't it strange how all the cheerleaders for PA have never worked there, but seem to be so incensed by any discussion of the company that they feel the need to post on here to tell us all just how boooooring it is

I went to one of their career evenings and was quite impressed actually, except for one guy who was a total smartass and kept trying to AMOG me. I think their FS practice does work for some of the big names like Barclays?

Barclays? RBS? Big deal - everyone works for them. You should ask them why their company is 50% of its size in 2004, when most of the competitors have more than doubled in size. PA are a farce - they should stick to milking charities

Why does a CEO of a completely unreformed large charity need to get in expensive consultants to tell him how to take 5% out of his cost base? If I was a trustee there, I'd be asking this guy some very tough questions.Easy money for PA though - I can see why they would very happily "gain share" on this.
