35 yr old experienced hire with a degree, MBA, Prince2 and MSP. Is it time to drop my A-levels from my CV or do employers still expect to see these?

If they're good, keep them on (1 line worth). If not, drop them.

I would remove them. Employers are only interested in what you have done in your adult life.I often smirk when I see the "50m swimming certificate, 1989" on a CV

It's not that they're bad, AAB in bio/chem/phys, I just feel that they now fall into the swimming badge category. If my A-level results are the deciding factor in my being invited to interview then there is something horribly wrong with the rest of my CV.

I think you've answered your own question. 15 - 20 years after sitting your exams, they are fairly pointless. You should focus on your achievements in the past 5 yearsI don't think I even mention my degree class on my CV these days, as I'm almost 40 (pension coming up in the next 75 years ....)

Couldn't agree more. I don't think I've mentioned my A-levels on my CV since I was about 24. When I'm recruiting, if I see that someone's put their A-level grades on their CV, my instinctive reaction is that they're junior/inexperienced. I woudln't expect it unless they're applying for a graduate trainee position or something similar.

Should i keep my MBA and undergrad GPA if I have 8 years of post-mba experience? My undergrad gpa is very high, MBA is quite high but not very impressive.

I would personally remove them, unless you have an awful lot of white space on your CV and can't fill it with anything more useful...!!When I interview candidates at your age, I'm looking at professional qualifications and experience. You're better off removing the A levels and filling the space with that insteadHope that helps.Jimmiewww.itbodies.co.uk
