A recruitment consultant applied to Accenture on my behalf and when I check the application status on Accenture Portal it says Accepting Applications. What does this mean? Does anyone know when I will be invited for an interview?

What position? Accenture recruitment takes a while.

Are you sure it's not the job role showing as 'accepting applications' and not your specific application? Mine says that but beneath it, it says status 'complete' or something like that - can't log in atm to check for sure.

you are right!!It says job status- accepting applications and also says submission status- completed.Any idea when are going to be invited for an interview?Regds

We at HR are absolutely amazed by the level of intellect of applicants sometimes.Can you not understand the meaning of 'accepting applications'. Well, that means that we are accepting applications from other candidates and will let you know about your outcome soon.With regards to when will you be invited, I guess you need to pass the screening state first. Unless of course you are so confident that you are asking when should ACN invite you, in which case you will be invited at the earliest opportunity. I am sorry, I cannot help you much through this forum.

As a former Accenture consultant, I was always amazed at the spectacular cluelessness of HR: - HR never found me a single role during my time there. (I had 100% chargeability from the day I started until the day I resigned)- When HR deigned to answer an email (a rare and privileged occurrence) from me, the only answer that I ever got was "have you checked the portal"- Finally, when I resigned, they even screwed that up and got my final totals wrongSo please, please pull your head out of your backside before posting on this forum.ex-ACN
