I’m an experienced Project / Programme Manager who wants to move into the consulting market. Who would be the best companies to apply to for PPM rather than strategy positions?

you have a few routes. there are smaller PPM specialists such as PIPC. the big integrated shops (CG, PWC, Accenture, EY etc) mostly have units that consult around delivery effectiveness, project rescue etc if you have an industry/product speciality to back up the functional PPM skillset you can also target those groups, as being a PPM expert in a particular specialist area is more interesting than the generic capability

Moorhouse and PA are both recruiting. Moorhouse is a specialist PPM house and PA has a dedicated PM practice.

Moorhouse run careers evenings if you're interested in meeting them. If that's of interest you can find out more and register here: http://events.top-consultant.com/UK/careerconference.aspx?ID=299

PIPC would be a good option, especially if you have any Financial Services experience
