Soon to be Accenture

Hello,I will soon be joining Accenture at Consultant level. Am I correct in thinking that they don't provide mobile phones until Manager level? What are the arrangements for company calls...do you just claim for business calls made or is there any further subsidy?

Consultants are issued with 5 carrier pigeons each as part of induction for precisely this reason. They are expected to return these intact when promoted to manager.

Mobile phones need to be *approved* by managers but consultants can get company phones. Most managers I've met would be more than willing to approve such requests, even for personal access to the corporate Vodafone contracts.

Why are you so bothered about mobile phones? You should be more concerned about dealing with the challenges you'd face in your career, and not worry about unimportant things
