I am currently at Accenture, and considering a lateral move to Deloitte at Consultant level.The nature of the work I would be doing at both firms is broadly similar (CRM), although the Deloitte role will have less of an IT focus (bonus). Basically I want to know whether this is a sound career move. Any non-prejudiced opinions on the following – would be much appreciated-Pay – Everyone knows Deloitte partners earn a wedge, but what about everyone else?-Brand – Perception both inside/outside consulting industry-Partnership vs Plc – Am I still going to have to jump through hoops and pretend that I care about things like diversity?Thanks

Pay in Deloitte is average. Consultant level will probably be around the 40k mark, depending on how much experience you have. As for your remark "pretend that I care about things like diversity" --> Deloitte has a very diverse background. If you do not care about diversity, then I would suggest you don't apply.
