Greetings,I have been in contact with a recruitment consultancy, and they are putting me forward for a job with Accenture at Consultant C1 level, paying £43k (Enterprise Perfromance Management)Is this reasonable? It's marginally better than my current salary, but I want to know if this is a competitive rate by industry/accenture standards. For background purposes, I have a BSc, MSc, 1 year government experience, 3 years at Deloitte (Internal Audit).

This is good. The C1 - C3 pay ranges from £40K - £60K. The question you have to ask yourself is whether ACN will pay you 43K if you are offered a position. All companies will try and get away with paying you the minimum possible. I would be tempted to speak to the recruiter and ask them to increase the salary that you are looking for to £45K. One of the main reasons people move (they probably won't admit it) is because they want a substantial pay rise.If it is 'marginally' better you have to ask yourself is it worth it.
