Hi- For manager role at EY (Advisory Services), I am told, either I will get a company car or car allowance. Any idea what is the car allowance amount for a role of manager at EY. Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but I'd imagine it's pretty impressive. I've seen the EY businessmen walking around London in their pin stripe suits and talking on their mobile phones. I expect they have lovely big houses in Kent and Hertfordshire. Probably second homes too. Pay is one thing that EY doesn't do by halves I expect.

Hi Derek or any other respected member of the forum,Can some one please tell me how many bands are within manager level @ E&Y in financial services and what is the salary on each of those bands, how much car allowance and other benefits comes with the basic salary. Can we compare E&Y Manager level with Deliotte/ Accenture Manager level or is it lower/higer than these two consulting companies?How is E&Y IT advisory perceived in general?kind regardsAnon

Why would you want to work for EY? A true boom and bust company. They hire like crazy as the market picks up and then have massive culls at the first sign of a downturn.Just look at the disasterous IBM clique that totally mismanaged the F&PM practice. Its never recovered since.Go work for a decent firm - and forget about your car allowance

I don't mind being culled in the downturn, do they pay good redudancy amount like accenture does?

Good for you that you are happy to be cast aside like an old shoe. You will fit very nicely in with EYAs for redundancy, most folks are managed out with no payment. Certainly no payments along the lines of Accenture
