Hi,I'm at the penultimate stage of the Deloitte Grad Recruitment, looking to go into the Entrepreneurial Business division at Leeds. Does anyone have any idea what kind of starting salary would be on offer?Your help is much appreciated.

£23-25k at a guess. It will be "market competitive" which means if you can find out what any of the other Big4 are offering their audit grads this year or what they offered in the last couple of years, that will be almost exactly what you're offered.

What is... Consultant

Hi,I would say that a more realistic figure would be around the £30k mark. I know that Accenture pay £31k in addition to a £10k joining bonus in the first year, so it should be on par with that. I'm not quite sure why you don't know what the salary will be as most companies will disclose that information to graduate in the hope to suck you in...Cheers

I don't know where exactly does your "Entrepreneurial Business division" sit within Deloitte.I know Consultants start on 31K.Auditors - much less.

Thanks for your responses, guys.Just to come back on a couple of the points raised, the 'Entrepreneurial Business' division at Deloitte sits within Audit, and is therefore not at 'Consultancy level'.And, Accenture apart, most of the major Professional Services firms are quite opaque when it comes to disclosing salaries for new grads, which is disappointing in my view.It is worth repeating that the role is based in the Leeds office, and will presumably not offer the same starting salary to those grads heading for London.I do know that Deloitte (and many of the other 'big 4') pay less in salary to new grads, given the investment, they claim, into putting the recruits on course to complete the ACA.Hope this clarifies the position a little more.

Entrepreneurial business is an audit group, so the graduate consulting payscales are not going to be representative - the difference in pay between consulting and audit reflects the cost of professional training and time off for study

Do they still offer the MBA in entrepreneurship? If it's what I'm thinking of, the package in Leeds in 2004-2005 was around 17k
