Hi PA-er,I understand you feel that PA are handling their bonus situation badly, but what exactly are they actually saying when they hand out the cheques?e.g. Here is you cheque for 3K, sorry its not the 15K you feel you deserve, as it was in year 200X, but...a) ...even though you hit your targets, your practice area did notb) ...even though you and your practice hit all your targets, the company did notc) ...even though the company made their targets, we're holding some back for the trouble we foreseed) ...even though the company made its targets, more has to be paid to partners, cos we can't do with less.e)... you shouldn't have had such high expectations, 200x was a one-off miracle yearThere is a lot of (understandable) emotion about PA on these boards. The official reasoning behind lower than expected bonuses should be a strong pointer beyond that emotion to the objective problem of the firm, e.g. everyone is underperforming, some teams are dragging down the minority/majority, the partners are getting greedy.Has anyone at PA actually asked why their bonus is smaller than they expected?
