The thread is still there actually, but rather like PA in the marketplace, its "prominence" is fast slipping down the ladder.

Didn't they just move it to Abu Dhabi? Forgetting most of the work was in Dubai. Doh, it's not far is it?

The Dubai office was a joke - it doesn't do anything other than public sector work, and that's all but stopped in Dubai in the past six months which is why the office relocated to Abu Dhabi, 100 miles away. Did PA staff who have homes and family in Dubai get a relocation package? Did they heck !!!As in the UK, PA was too reliant on a few public sector clients and have gone into terminal decline

So what did happen to the staff in Dubai then? Have they been kept on or have they been disposed of?

They've been told that their new place of work is Abu Dhabi - 160kms away. Classic PA trick - don't fire anyone, but just force them out.Quite a few of the decent partners in Dubai got canned over the past year or two, and now we only have the weakest partners from the UK Government practice running it.

Emirateeee - of course there no good business reasons for moving the office they dis it just to get rid of people.It is good that people who don't cut get forced out, even if brilliant people like you clearly think you are disagree.Maybe the reason the partners aren't doing well is because the people they have at their disposal are whinging idiots like you.
