I have been looking for a new role now for a good 16 weeks and though there was some early interest things have been recently very very slow. I have purposely avoided CP in the past due to the previous comments on TC but to be honest things were starting to get a little desperate and I thought "Why not?".I spoke to Ben, whom seemed to know what he was talking about and within 2 weeks I had 2 opportunities. Only one of these offered me a role and though it would have been nice to have a choice, I felt that CP offered me all of the advice I needed and a level of service that I have not experienced since the late 90's.I now remain very open minded regarding some of the comments made on agencies on TC. The role I now have may not have been available when I was first looking though there is a chance I could have missed it if I would have taken everything written on here as gospel.I recommend Ben of CP to anyone I speak to now who is looking.I started last week and it's fair to say that I am a very Happy Consultant.

Hi DC,I have posted my comments here as I felt positive about the service I received regarding my recent experience from CP. I understand that there are a number of people within the forum who are very anti-recruiters and if im entirely honest I am of the same mindset 99% of the time.I have recently had my opinions changed by one recruiter whom I feel has done a good job and wanted to share this with the community.Is it so hard to believe that a recruiter has filled a role with someone whom is happy with the way things turned out?I don’t know whether you are a alternate recruiter or a previous guy CP have worked with but it might be time to stop being so negative and cheer up a bit.
