Telecoms Principal / Senior Analyst for Growing exceptional advisory firm - Central London with work from home options

£65k-£80k plus 15% bonus, benefits

?Our client are looking for a Principal Analyst to join their research team, ideally with expertise the B2B telecoms industry. This should be someone with deep industry knowledge, outside the box thinking about telecoms opportunities in the enterprise sector, and experience leading research teams and product development. ?They are looking for someone who strives for excellence in their research, and with an entrepreneurial drive in building new research or new approaches to research. As they grow as a business, they are seeking Principal Analysts who want to take ownership of their part of the business and work closely with the clients board and wider business on product development and management, report planning and production, and sales activities.

?Responsibilities include:
•Management of at least one research solution area (Enterprise or Network Futures are priority areas), with opportunity to build a new research solution area if a compelling opportunity arises for the company
oEnsuring a compelling proposition for the research offering, with interesting and unique views of the market and recommendations for our customers in the telecoms industry oResponsibility for sales, marketing and production targets for the solution area oPlanning and management of report production, including scoping new research topics and angles and curation of content
oPlanning and management of research tools production, including any existing datasets, use case packs, company profiles, etc. oDevelopment of new research products within the solution area, including content development, proposition development and marketing, and sales support oManagement of marketing activities, including article production, webinars and campaigns oRecruit an existing or new junior analyst into developing subject matter expertise and dedicated role within your solution area

•Research and analysis oResearch and write own reports contributing to solution area oManagement of other analysts and associates in production of reports and content for the solution area
oRegular client calls and presentations covering existing research topics as well as additional questions •Team contributions oSupport on regular publication activities across the research team oProactive approach to improving their research and wider company processes and practices, e.g. data-driven decision-making, training, etc.
oAd-hoc support on consulting projects as a subject matter expert oSupport and development for junior analysts, including line management for those dedicated to your solution area •Building their brand and presence oActive participation in industry events through presentations and panel moderation oDevelopment of strong relationships with leading industry experts
oCultivation of a community fostering debate and engagement with their research?Skills, Experience & Knowledge: •In-depth knowledge of the telecoms B2B/enterprise market, including topics such as IoT, Cloud, NaaS, security, managed services, etc. •Experience writing long form research reports •Proficient in excel, experience building and analysing large datasets •Proficient in building power presentations for client sessions and marketing/sales activities
•Comfortable presenting analysis and research propositions to C-suite clients / prospective customers
•Strong teamwork skills, e.g. collaborating on developing new research topics and formats
•Line management experience, including supporting junior analysts in scoping and writing research reports
•Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once across research production, team development, and client-facing engagements •Familiarity with business software tools is a plus (Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.) ?
