The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) has launched a new guide for Government Buyers of Consultancy, to help encourage them to consider using SMEs more regularly.
The guide covers what Government can expect from working with an SME, what makes them different and tackles some common myths about smaller firms. It comes at a crucial time for smaller firms due to the uncertainty of the long term impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on businesses.
Tamzen Isacsson, Chief Executive of the MCA, said: “Smaller firms are vulnerable at this uncertain time and Government, more than ever, can support them by stepping up use of our small sized members for building extra capacity and expertise. This new guide provides a guidance on how to find and use an SME and we hope it can be put to good use in the coming weeks and months.”
