PA Consulting’s Global Head of energy and utilities, Aris Karcanias, comments on the UK’s largest round of clean energy subsidies, in an article in the Financial Times.
The article explains that the results of the auction show that offshore wind has become the cheapest source of clean energy in the UK.
Commenting on these results, Aris describes the outcomes as “astonishing” and “more than anyone could have anticipated”.
He goes on to add that: “offshore wind is now one of the cheapest forms of energy”.
