Rachel Hugo joins PA Consulting (PA), the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, to lead and grow PA’s activities in aerospace, industrials and manufacturing around the world.
Rachel brings more than 25 years of experience in multiple industries, including aerospace, telecommunications, technology, consumer goods, energy and automotive, and has created and led multi-functional and multi-cultural teams. Most recently, Rachel was the global lead partner for a priority client in Industrials at KPMG and a lead advisory partner for aerospace and defence industry clients. Rachel was responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-wide growth strategy and transformation programmes across the UK, US, Australia, Canada, Europe and India. Her work spans growth strategy, business agility, emerging technologies, data insight, turnaround, transformation and operational excellence.
Before KPMG, Rachel founded and ran a boutique advisory business in advanced industries and technology and was on the leadership team of an industry-owned strategy consulting firm. Early on in her career, Rachel worked jointly with clients at Capgemini Invent, to launch new technologies rapidly into market, and led a multinational team at Eastman Kodak. Rachel also helped large industrial clients drive pivotal change by focusing on key metrics of success and transformation at Celerant Consulting. Rachel has an MBA from IMD Business School and a BSc (Hons) from Nottingham University.
Passionate about inclusion and diversity, Rachel was the sponsoring Partner for Women in Aerospace, Defence and Technology at KPMG – a cross-industry and public sector forum focused on inspiring next generation leaders in STEM related sectors.
