Hi Brit,I have been in Oman a few times - visiting a friend who workes as expat in Sohar. Muscat is a very lively and interesting city to live. It has a good standard of living and hous/appartment pricing is simular to pricing in Western European cities: it is expensive. But living/working in Oman is a great experience. I am also researching the opportunity of living/working in the Middle East. But the timing know is difficult. The ME is also suffering from the crisis. Good luck and keep us informed!Jo
