I hope you put more effort in to your applications.Whether you stand a chance at all will depend on several points: your subject, grade, extra curriculars, any relevant work experience such as sandwich course etc. But to give you an indication, investment consulting is slightly less daunting as an entry point than strat, prob more than SI and process driven work. In the current environment you will need a 2:1 or 1st in a real subject (by which I mean not 'media studies' or some such nonsense), preferably something quantatative, decent A levels (AAB realistically to stand a chance, again in real subjects), and really some involvement in suitable extra curriculars - an investment club at university, maybe some amateur spread betting or something to show an interest in finance and the mechanics of finance. And have a great story about yourself and why investment consultancy: after all it's not ALL about academics, and if you can shine in your motivations, stand out as an individual, you can get through even if your competition are mainly oxbridge.
