Hi,I am looking for some advise on how to prepare for upcoming case study interview for business advisory at E&Y. I am told that E&Y BAS cases are quite different from typical cases at MBBB type firms.If you have been through this or know the details, I'll appreciate some insight and sources I can use for preparation. It seems the time for case study interview is 1.5 hours which seems to be too long. So i really donot know what to expect for this long interview on case study.Help pls.

Hi a,Right, well I have a BAS case study not too long ago and it went pretty ok - better than I thought it would.The 1.5hrs you quote is for the whole second interview session including the case study. Mine started off with a general discussion / walk through my CV and then they gave me 15 mins or so to read through the case study and prepare some things. This is based on a real life type client situation. Hence bring all your usual client approaches in to your answer showing your full consulting toolkit.Nothing to worry about....be cool and answer as if it was your client - no trick questions.

(ii) during the case study interviews, does the interviewer lead by asking questions or is it more like up to the candidate to start and finish the analysis?(iii) did you also get into the partner presentation round? how did it go? any tips.thanks
