What's wrong with BT? Bl**dy good company if you ask me. Start the day at 10.00am, do a few jobs, sit in the van and have a coffee every few hours, finish the jobs early, then go home at 4.00pm. Also, you get to visit some beautiful rural locations and probably get staff discount on your phone calls. Nice!

making up the value of contracts....its a hard job but someone has to do it!

Why would anyone laugh at you? In these days of economic doom and gloom you have a "reasonably" secure job whereas many don't. True, the work at BT might not been the most exciting or challenging but in consulting you'll get out what you put in so why not use the time constructively and try to educate yourself in one or more of the more specific areas?

Actually not a bad nor laughable place to be at the moment, lots of juicy strategy work going on to turn the company around which should last some time...+ 36hr weeks + 37days annual leave...now who's laughing?
