Good evening.I am considering applying to EYs BAS Tech. Enablement practice. Can anyone shed light on the exact nature of the work undertaken, current client list and locations please. I have tried the website to no avail.Thanks in advance peeps.

I believe they are focusing on 3 or 4 areas - tech procurement, IT transformation programme management, enterprise and solution architecture and IT strategy. Main sectors are government and utilities.

I know that they are recruiting heavily at the moment. Other than that, I can't tell you much more, other than that working for a big 4 firm isn't everyones cup of tea (although the people I know seem happy)There's only one way to find out - go speak to them.

Just say no. You won't regret it. EY started off as the lowest common denominator in the consultancy market, has now given up on making a go of its "business advisory services" division and is having a go at being the worst systems integrator. Expect them to burn through clients and end up with even less cash to pay the bills.

EY has this week been served with another lawsuit for failing to pay the rates on 1 More London. That's how little cashflow there is. Choose wisely, choose to be paid, choose not to be evicted from your office building --- choose to work anywhere but EY.

That's cos it's a made up crock of sh1t as is the "given up" line from BASE (unless 60% year-on-year growth at mid-year is giving up of course).

Are you muppets confusing that dodgy "weighted growth" measure with actual profit again? There's a reason that standard didn't pass muster of an external audit the last time someone convinced a client to try it on.With a grasp of accounting and finance like this, there's no wonder EY has more lawsuits than client contracts these days.
