Marakon became part of Trinsum, but retains its autonomy as a business and its distinct culture. They suffered an exodus of good people when they became part of Trinsum - something felt to be painful in the firm given its boutique size - but are bouncing back. Well respected in what they so, lack the branding of MBB, but are a fair bit softer and more balanced culturally. Nice place if you have cut your teeth in MBB or similar and want something a bit more - hate to say this - adult (i.e. less micromanagement etc).
