"Ordinary" or non-Honours degrees do still exist, if now rather rare. I think a few numpties in my year got downgraded to the Ordinary track.At one time having an Honours degree would have been something noteworthy but the usual grade inflation seems to have taken effect.Why bother indicating your degree at all now that half the population goes to university, and that by definition graduates are collectively only of "average" ability and reflective of the population as a whole?
