No. Nobody can tell you. You must discover for yourself. That is the first test. Good luck - you will need it.

You got an MSC with such poor English skills, when most of MC is a play on words that william wordsworth himself would find taxing. Also wrong country for Freshers , dont be caught lying again :)Go do the needful to get job

I've got a MSc in Surfing and now I'm looking for a job in Supply Chain consulting role. Rate my chances against the freshie? And against the likes of Accenture, IBM and others that employ these freshies?

Dear Bluntthe BRIC countries are about to sterr rapidly into a recession that would make the UK recession look like a chilly wind in the summer.Put simply, the G8 countries have been over investing in these areas to protect pensions and had thought that these countries would act as a buffer to our recession, that the G8 could 'export' to these countries. Now with rampant protectionism I am afraid that your chances of getting a job in the 'services' industry are about the same as pope john paul in Medina.

I'm upset now Taxman. I've got this MSc (Bachelors from Imperial in Engineering), a UK citizen blah blah and now competing against a freshie, who can't spell or probably speak the language well, yet will get the job on the basis he has a MSc in SC. The crux of the matter is I've got practical experience in SC in two different industries, yet I feel this freshie will probably get the job at IBM, Accenture which are rife with them.... Maan, I feel great.

Ah you said Imperial, well then you will avoid the recession, but yes you are from the wrong background to get into 'Supply Chain Management' as you can obviously spell, and chain words together. These skills make any HR troll raise their eyebrows and take a break from bridges and goats.

Do you really think employers are dumb just to take someone because they have had an MSc in supply chian management into the company?..According to what you say your skills are, you should be sailing through.. I do not understand your rant about being a UK citizen and still not getting a job.

MC, to answer your first question I would be, controversial, if not biased. Deep down, I'm going to say yes :)As for your second question, I'm employed. Just not a well paid one to cover my lifestyle and that one day I would like to work in a consultancy. Just have to find which one best suits me and also I don't want to apply in this economic climate.

hey sachin,The more you write the more people will realize that you do have requisite english speaking skills. Please lets just stick with relevant issues and not get into other non important issues (like if an Indian can do everything).

Actually just about everything comes from India or was invented by Indians, including William Shakespeare, Cliff Richard (who was actually born in India and is of Indian descent), Leonardo da Vinci, most English words: (veranda, shampoo, conditioner), the British Royal Family (all except Prince Charles, who is African, due to the size of his ears), and Superman (who is Indian as he has two jobs, a bad haircut and can run faster than a train). Then there are the TV rip-offs everyone knows that Skippy was based on Skipinder the bush kangaroo, and that King Arthur was Indian as the trade between India and the UK goes back to the 11th Century. And in 10 centuries not a lot has changed trade wise, th UK still like curry and for some unkown reason the Indians think London is fantastic.

suchin,To answer your question. Yes. As for the other stuff you wrote I didn't understand at all. I had to borrow a work colleague (who is Indian) to decrypt what you wrote. He agreed, you are seriously ill to the point of being deranged. The fool is the one trying to convince others he has the capability to work in the UK without the ability to string a single sentance in clear and concise english. Perhaps I'm missing the point, and perhaps why standards are falling. If "indian can be good in anything" then why ask on this forum "how can i apply for job?"Take care.
