Hi, Would someone have information about interviewing process at E&Y BAS? It seems tthat for second round there is technical interview at senior manager level for case study and competency based interveiw. Any advise what this consists of? This is second round. Would you know - is there also a third round in E&Y? Becuase in most companies I thought it should only be 2 round process. Thanks

Yup - three rounds in BAS, often with long periods of silence between them.Pay rises this year were rubbish, with with those ranked 3 and 4 only getting inflation, and 1 and 2s getting zero.Not a happy place to work

But to put this is perspective, those rated 1 and 2 didnt deserve a rise. top performers - ie. those rated a 5 (and there were a few of them) got 10%.

Hi BASil,Thanks, could you please elaborate bit further on details / differences in the three rounds?As far as I understand, 2nd round is a technical one i.e case study plus some competence based interview. In total for 1.5 hours.What about third round? Is it similar to 2nd round?Any advise on how should I prepare for the 2nd round? Thanks so much.

Can't see why you would want to join BAS.Low or nil pay rises (other than for the top 10%), with big redundancies on the way.As for the interview process, it is long and painful with beggar all feedback

Redundancies are not on the way - BAS is pretty much sold out and in some areas are so desperate for staff are even looking to recruit contractors because it's the only way that they can fulfill demand. Payrises aren't great because the rest of the firm isn't performing that well - BAS is.

Don't know how true that is. Lots of people on the bench at F&PM, and recruitment stopped in the Summer. All our competitors seem to be growing their finance transformation practices, but we (or should I say our glorious ex-IBM leaders) seem incapable of selling anything
