Hi all, I appreciate there have been a few threads written about wardrobes, suits etc.. but i haven't found an answer to my question. I am 6'4" tall and am sick of buying shirts from Lewins, Pink, CT etc... and them not being long enough in the body - a meeting with your hip bones exposed is never a good, i'm sure you'd agree. My question is simply, where does everyone get their shirts from? Am I missing something - i need slim fit, double cuff shirts, long in the body that don't cost an arm and a leg! Any pointers/ideas would be appreciatedCheers,

Keen to keep this post up there. I am in a similar boat and was thinking of going tailored. Does anyone know of a good shirt tailor that is reasonably priced with a decent range of designs etc? Thanks

I'm 6'4'', reasonably, slim, and buy my shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt (http://www.ctshirts.co.uk/). Don't even need to get their slilm fit models, just the regular ones. length of body should be fine unless you have the proportions of Michael Felps.

Would agree with the post above. Get all my shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt and have noticed that they tend to make them quite long. Go for the non-iron ones, they will keep their shape indefinately!

Though not quite the dimensions of Mr Phelps, I have found that shirts from Eterna are also worth considering (decent quality and price). Come in sizes for big boys.See http://www.eterna.de/

Lads!these are the ONLY shirts you want - best quality.www.hewittandmay.co.ukI'm 6ft4 also...trick is how you tuck in your shirt....(cant believe I am about to write this)...make sure the front of the shirt is tuck tight between your legs then put trousers on. all sorted...if that doesnt work take them to a tailor and get them to "slim fit" them, £8 a shirt is not bad. trust me these are the best shirts you will get - if you sign up you will get special offers...otherwise quite dear.enjoy!!!

I had similar issues - 'city cut' shirts made to fit city paunches.Mangas is the way forward; tailor made, choice of material, cut, collar, cuffs, stitching etc. Two shops in the city. Its the only place I get my shirts now - maybe a bit more expensive than the never ending 'special offers' of Pink/ Lewins etc, but last longer and look infinitely better.http://www.mangas.co.uk/shirts/index.html

If every you're in hong kong get some shirts made - it's pretty cheap and they'll keep your measurements on file so you can reorder from the UK.Comes in at about half the price of a pink slim fit...
