Hi All,I've been in consulting for a year and two months as an associate consultant in the US. Although I've done well on the job, I don't think this is what I want to do long-term. One of the problems is the company I'm with. I'm much more interested in finance, but of course the current crisis doesn't really sit well with recruiting at the moment. I have been trying however to network my way into a job with little success. At the same time, I've been pursuing a MSc in Finance at University of London's external programme ('09 candidate). To me, I think I have the following routes to take (please advise if you think there are others). I was hoping you could help dissect my situation and provide any suggestions:1. Stick with the current firm for 2 more years, go to a top B school and get into Finance as an associate. 2. Jump ship to another firm for 2 years, go to top B school and get into Finance as an associate. 3. Apply for another MSc in the UK (LSE most likely) for 2009 entry, as I finish my UOL MSc. I would want to get into the Finance & Economics, or Financial Mathematics programmes. Once the course is over, get into finance as an analyst. 4. I have a really good startup idea. Pursue this either full-time or part-time with current consulting work. 5. Pursue start-up idea while taking a part-time MSc in Finance at LSE.Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
