1. Retrain as a teacher.2. Earn £45K/year (I shyte ye not).3. Go home at 3.30pm every day. 4. Enjoy several months of holiday time every year and a final salary pension scheme.5. Complain to all your friends about how hard you work.Or alternatively:1. Get another MBA2. Get a PhD too and a few more degrees3. Bust your a$$ to get into MBBB4. Earn £40K/year5. Work 80 hours a week and get 4 weeks of holiday every year.6. Never sleep in your own bed.7. Bend over and take it from the Partners.

Best way to create value is to start your own company (not necessarily consulting). You're the boss, you make the decisions, you take the rewards but of course you also take all the risks.

That's very good advice. It is certainly a really good time to be approaching our well performing retail banks for some cheap credit for a business start up, just when the economy looks like it will be expanding rapidly.
