Tony, Observation, file did not download using Firefox. Works fine with IE. Not sure how the registration works, but I have put in my name three times to download the file. Does this mean that I will get three lots of newsletters? Since three records were produce, do you have consolidating processes in place to mitigate this?Thanks

Casio - we were pretty pleased to get 12 full pages of advertising in a brand new publication. I think a newspaper sales team would be cracking open the champagne if they&apos;d got this much take-up for a consulting supplement! But if we&apos;re selling ourselves short I&apos;d love to hear from you - have got a great commission-only sales job that&apos;ll make a mint for you if selling extra space is so easy!!;-)Blunt - have asked our IT manager to look into your firefox issues right away. I can register and download in IE and in Firefox 2.0 and Firefox 3.0 without any problems, so maybe it&apos;s specific to a certain edition. If you can post any further details about the error messages you&apos;re getting and the version you&apos;ve got installed that&apos;d be a great help. Very good read and answered a lot of questions I&apos;ve been pondering for a while about exactly what is available to me outside consulting.

I do not find LEK in the list of consultancies: How come?

I am also having troubles downloading this document with firefox 3.0. (again IE is fine). I get the document to open and then at about 5.3MB is stops loading and stalls for good.Thanks very much, I&apos;m trying to break into management consulting from another field and what I&apos;ve read so far is very helpful.

With regards to the point about LEK being missing from the guide, we invited all our consulting contacts (including LEK) to submit entries - and there was no cost to having an entry, so no reason not to participate. As you can see the vast majority chose to take part, but a few firms either chose not to or just didn&apos;t appreciate the scale of the guide we were producing and therefore the importance of them getting involved.We did consider trying to plug the gaps but came to the conclusion that we&apos;d inevitably end up overlooking some firms who ought to be in there and / or publishing info about those firms that wasn&apos;t a good reflection of those firms so reverted to just chasing firms multiple times to get involved.Interestingly a few have been in contact in the last 24 hours trying to see if they can get themselves included now that they&apos;ve seen how glaring their omission is!..Tony RestellTop-Consultant.com

Tony,Do you have parameters dictating the size of firm that can list? It strikes me that for a boutique consultancy (10-30 revenue generating consultants), of which I know a few, this could be a good way to get their name known - advertise their expertise, attract talent etc.

Casio - firms just need to have reached the stage where they&apos;d be potential employers of consulting candidates.One of the big drivers in producing this guide was that we are always being asked by readers to recommend smaller consulting firms in different niche sectors. As we&apos;re in contact with tons of firms like these it seemed like a great idea to get as many of them as possible into one directory and spread this network / knowledge we&apos;ve got far wider. Hence why we went for the term <b>Definitive Guide</b> because there are other publications out there that list details of the biggest global consulting brands, but none that we&apos;re aware of that provide a comprehensive listing of both large and smaller consultancies.Tony RestellTop-Consultant.com

Interestingly every time i try to download this I get a message telling me that the file is corrupt and can&apos;t be repaired! (It may well be down to my client&apos;s IT system though!)I&apos;ll try again from home, but all the comments on here about how good it is certainly mean I don&apos;t want to give up yet!
