Are you concerns mainly aboout the contractural/reporting arrangments, BT GS, or the nature of the government project. If the last then I can understand how you could easily be the 'fall guy' if the project doesn't make it's deliverables ie you might not get the levell of protection a consultancy would give to an internal lead. But this is very much down to the management of the consultancy, and I don't know where BT GS fits in here - I thought they were very much about technology convergence, but admit this is probably a narrow view - does this project play to their core strengths, in which case yoou may be ok, of is it more 'green field' for them, hence the need to bring you in?
