Could anyone tell me the different levels of interviews in PA. I am done with 2 hr and the written and verbal tests. How many more interviews will I have to go through?Could you also advice on what consultant level I should be looking at? Consultant or principal consultant. I have 5 years of experience and another year of project part time experience.

5 years experience with no other consulting experience = consultant level. You'll likely have 1 or 2 senior interviews on the same day from there.

The MBA has got you the interview and will not 'entitle' you to a more senior position. Experience is key and your 5 years means that you are at consultant level. If you are given an offer, try negotiating for a promotion after 6/12 months provided you met some pre-agreed criteria.Don't take being offered a C position as an insult. If you excel, you will be promoted quickly and the MBA should give you the tools to stand apart from your peers.SS

Thanks SS.Will I be able to negotiate for senior consultant level; which inturn will let me jump to PC in 6 - 12 months. And I am expecting in the range of around GBP 55k - 60k. Is this the right range to target

"Will I be able to negotiate for senior consultant level; which inturn will let me jump to PC in 6 - 12 months."In short, no - PA don't have a "senior consultant" grade - just Consultant and Principal Consultant."And I am expecting in the range of around GBP 55k - 60k. Is this the right range to target"Again, probably not. You've only got 6 years experience and that would put you squarely in the Consultant grade bracket - the range you've suggested would be the lower end of the Principal Consultant salary scale.Having said all that, performance reviews take place twice a year at PA, so if you prove yourself and can be relied on to take more responsibility there's a good chance you'd made Principal in 2 years (ish). Many of the Principals I worked with at PA tend to have experience outside of consulting, and experience wise tend to have 8-14 years work experience.
