Has "The Apprentice" been putting ideas in your head Freddie?!Anyway, can't say I blame you. In my twenties I was a member of the "Classic Car Club", the original of these types of clubs that was quite ground-breaking at the time. It was an excellent fit for the consulting lifestyle - no hassle around owning a car or getting it fixed or ensuring the insurance got renewed whilst away on an assignment. And got to drive Aston Martins, Ferraris, etc. for about as many weekends of the year as I needed them. Can highly recommend it.With the supercar clubs that exist now, the only thing I'd take a careful look at is the excess on the insurance policy. If it's an amount that is unpalatable, that could seriously diminish your enjoyment of having use of the cars....Tony RestellTop-Consultant.com

Here's an idea, if you do want your own car. Go over to Dubai and they have a number of dealers and 'desert warehouses' full of nearly new sports cars at dirt cheap prices. It's not uncommon to pick up a Porsche for well under half the price of UK or EU. You can then have them shipped over for not much and aviod tax if they're second hand.

Are they right hand drive? With regards to the car clubs after a few promotions I will definately sign up. Living in london I don't need to own a car and would only require one at the weekend anyway. I think these clubs are about 10k per year right? Given depreciation and running costs of owning a car it's not that much to sink in comparison!

Yea not too keen on the Dubai idea, want to be driving ferraris and nice lambo's, but just on weekends, seems like fun. might have to go for it! when you compare the 10k a year to the 150k and the quick loss of value!
