guys,M stands for Manager levelSM for Senior Manager levelSE for Senior Executive level (partner)At each level there is number next to it i.e. M1, M2, M3, which simply implies that how many years have you been in that cadre i.e. M3 implies three years in Manager cadre. Typical first year you are called M1, second year M2, third year M3 and so on so forth.Same goes for SM, SE levelsNow, M3 is the level at which you typically can be considered for promotion into Senior Manager so you become SM1 and similry after SM3 you become SE1But can also happen that instead you only become M4 and then M5...these are not promotions...just place holder and in a way to self-differentiate under performers from the crowd.Salry band for Senior manager starts around the range indicated earlier 90 K upwards with car, bonus etc....I am not sure how high it can go...may be about 120 or 130K plus exras.Hope it helps.........

Nonsense !M4, M5 and M6 are senior manager grades in Accenture. If you don't get promoted to SM at M3 you stay at M3.M4 (Entry Level Senior Manager) starts at about 85K with 10% bonus and 7K car.You don't automatically get a pay rise going from M4 to M5 and M5 to M6 as these are time served grades.Th salary banding for a SM goes from 85k to about 110K. There are many senior managers in the UK who have not yet been made partners and once they max out their pay grade they stay there !

Thanks to all that have supported this thread, really helpful. So in Summary - Senior Manager is £90k ish to £110k ish, and Senior Executive is classed as partner? Thanks again.
