Hi,What is the area of Information Management like in Technology Consulting?Is one less likely to get exposure to the learning the business/strategic aspects doing this than say System Integration Consulting or Strategic IT Effectiveness?Thanks.

Yes, IM consulting is primarilly database stuff, and is quite operational and quite un-strategic.

So Information Management does not concern emerging technologies such as Web 2.0 and Second Life?Would one get more exposure to the business side in Systems Integration, e.g. SAP?As a SAP Analyst at Accenture, what duties are involved? Does Java programming play a large role? Or is it more the requirements capture and design, wheras the programming is left to the Delivery Centre?
