Which practice are you in at present? Some of PA’s practices such as Manufacturing, or even Government offer some great opportunities and are far superior to DC. Others, such as the majority of the BTG and IT practices are far inferior to Deloitte. A good clue is to look at your practices history of winning bids against Deloitte: if they are losing more than they are winning, then it is time to go.The other factor to consider is compensation – to be polite about it, PA’s compensation structure is "somewhat opaque". At least with DC, they are more transparent, from what I hear. Wage rates are also a lot higher in a Big 4 accountancy firm, than in a second tier organisation like PA.Good luck with your choices
