Seen them advertising various security consultant roles and as I'm feeling a bit bored where I'm currently working (large sytems integrator) and am thinking about applying. I'd appreciate any feedback on the following: culture, types of projects they're involved in, hours worked, time spent at the office/client, amount of travelling, how flexible they are, average age of consultants, bonus payouts, etc. Any information that would be useful really. I'm particularly interested in the pay scale of consultants. Hope someone can help. Thanks

If you're going to work in Security, surely it will be far more entertaining to work at a nightclub. At least then you can perve at the fitties rather than ensure no-ones trying to sneak off with a memory stick or parking in the wrong space. :)

Logica have a strong reputation mainly in the business process optimisation, process efficiency, benefits realisation and business systems space. They are weak on infrastructure, IT strategy and business operations and business transforamtion. There are some sound reasons for this: the management has decided that strategic growth should be attained by concentrating on core competencies and existing strengths rather than diversifying and expanding functional and sectoral base. The business model in the current climate sounds robust, however owing to functional coverage it is susceptible to economic sensitivity. ZB
