I'm 35. I am currently in the middle of a full-time MBA at Cass, loving it.I have no bachelor degree but 10 years of work experience, broadly speaking in customer service roles and most recently a year at a small consulting firm that specialised in employee engagement and training. I left this firm to do the MBA with their blessing and an open invitation to return. Alongside the work and in the run up to this year, I did a Open University Mgt Diploma and Professional Certificate. I'm feeling a little knocked at the moment because while I have got over this failing in my past, it seems it has returned to haunt me! Having seen similar threads here, I recognise there are significant obstacles for someone like me attempting to gain entry into the big firms, although I am going to try and network my way in, laterally. ...Or am I simply wasting my time? Do I need a reality check? Is there anyone out there who has overcome a similar weakness?Could anyone advise as to any reputable, successful, smaller firms who might value someone like me without a degree?
