What are the people like at ATK? Do managers/leaders care about thier employees development and do people REALLY develop within the firm - or jsut leave after a few years?

Anyone?

ATK is undergoing major structural change, firstly in terms of industrial focus and business capability. I believe whilst this rethink is occuring that focus, time and energy is likely to diverted from daily operations. Their business model is very sinusoidal in that is it actuely susceptible to market-driven gyrations which means an appreciable amount of earnings volatilty and career uncertainty. I personally believe thier strategy some time back to focus on emerging markets and TI type work has been unsuccessful, owing to poor cultural cultivation and diminisging capital reserves.Anon...

mmmmm... don't you just love anon. not sure I understood that - and if I did I wouldn't recognise it from the office.in my experience on balance the managers/leaders do care about their staff. there is a focus on development of staff - not always provided through training course but on the job coaching and mentoring. of course you have to perform - but provided you show willingness to learn and enthusiasm you'll get plenty of support.Some consultants do leave after a few years; some stay and make a career of it.

ATK is very good. They look after their employees.
