Hello everybody.Who do you think has got the best Office in London in terms of decore, location.I think Mckenzie is no 1 but I also liked the one of Bain, ATK and KPMG.What's your opinion.

I was at one of Deloitte's office recently (stonecutter court) and was very unimpressed! The entrance was small and cramped...surely this isn't thier main offices??

Location wise Capgemini's Wardour Street office hits the nail right on the head - between Piccadilly Circus, Tott Court Road and Oxford Circus and a few mins walk from anywhere in the West End. Not a shabby office either.

Any offices higher up in the Gherkin.Was in there for client work, and it's by far the most impressive office i have been in. Located between Bank and Liverpool St, fantastic amount of light, sense of space and aesthetically pleasing to boot.

KPMG - 39th floor Canary Wharf - even analysts can get a seat by the window.PwC - Embankment Place (over Charing Cross station).Deloitte Consulting's Athene Place is okay, but badly positioned and echoes like a tomb. Very strange acoustics.McKinsey - Jermyn Street is nicely positioned after all.ADL - their old office in Berkley Square was very nice.PA - Buckingham Palace Gate is very nice, just in the middle of nowhere.

PwC at embankment place? Are you kidding? Have you ever been there? I was actually thinking of declining an offer from them just because it would have meant working from that office. Space seemed to be way too much at a premium for my liking, and there didn't appear to be much natural lighting either.

Anon,PwC's Embankment Place is fantastic. Your comments lead me to conclude thay you're not senior enough to get either a river view or an office by an atrium. The light otherwise is not great, but in all other aspects it's a good office witha great vibe.

Well put it this way - even the client-facing meeting rooms came across as being nothing special. The ceilings were too low, there wasn't enough natural light, the meeting rooms weren't big enough for the size desks and number of chairs they had in them, the layout was awkward in my opinion, the drinks machines (if they had any) must have been hidden away... all in all, a bit too cramped and lacking comfort for my liking. And then, on the outside, there is no tranquility at all... just a busy little street down the back of Charing Cross, full of tramps and people eating their lunch as they swarm to and from the tube station. Are you confusing it with No. 1 London Bridge? Because Embankment Place sucked in my opinion.

I have to concur Embankment Place is not a nice office. It fits rather awkwardly around the station and the lack of natural light is a killer.And to show I'm not anti-PwC (I'm anti-everyone ;-), I should also say that I don't think PA's offices are all that nice either. The glass lifts and central space are pretty enough, but the offices are pretty generic and the desks feel cramped.

Riverside view from EY London Bridge office are fantastic. And the office is modern, with works of arts dotted around the place (rumour has it there is a former turner price artwork in there somewhere?)- Capgemini's wardour St is mediocre. Not enough space, no facilities to speak of, so lunch is often grabbing a sandwich from prets, and "let's go for lunch" if often "let's walk to prets"
