Why not just join the Firm at 23 and make director at 44. Stay at director for 5 years and then quit before you turn 50. Sounds like a plan to me and your children will thank you.

That timeline is a fair way out. Deloitte is similar to all the big 4 and should read:2-3 years to consultant 2 years to senior consultant 2-3 years to manager 3-4 years to senior manager x years to director (no standard time at level)x years to partner (no standard time at level)- JS
