They offer good training and their brand name opens doors.You should not have too much trouble gettin a job after deloitte. Try targeting industry ( fortune 500/ftse 100 companies) which uses deloitte and holds them in high regard. What about your clients whilst working at deloitte...there might be non compete agreements in place, but then try their competitors....( same industry).Generally, industry had better work/life balance than consulting. Its usually 9-5/6 and a flexible at that too. The salary will usually be a bit less ( 15-25%) in industry than consulting, as consulting requires more productivity companred to industry jobs.I recommend all to have a mix of consulting and industry experience as both have pros and cons...
