Go for it.I worked for ATK and then moved to Bain.ATK is a great consultancy firm.Prepare for lots of travels and long hours, but u'll be well rewarded.

Is anyone able to provide more info about ATK?How does it compare with firms like KPMG, E&Y, Atos, etc

Financially but also professionally.If you have an experience there you can the move easily to MBB if you wish.Good luck

depends on your alternatives, but for sure one of the better names in the industry (not top 3, but top 10). Lots of operations-style projects (purchsing, scm, ...)

What about when compared to a larger consultancy like ACN? How would the experience differ and how would this affect one's long-term career progression?Thanks.

I would prefer ATK over any big 4 style consultancy in any aspect (compensation, progression, project work, colleagues, image, …). As ATK wrote you can easily move on to a MBBB as they see ATK as part of the peer group – other an acn et al

ATK compared to the Big Four?No contest.It's like comparing Dell with Apple.The quality of work is much better and now that the bad period after EDS has gone the company is doing great again and provides lots of support.I know they are recruiting monthly so they must have lots of business.Remember that ATK has a legacy with McKenzie so an experience there would open you more doors in Strategy Firms like Mck,Bain, BCG if you want to progress your career with them later.Good luck
