Hi everyone, I will graduating this year with a BSc degree. I interviewed with some consulting firms last year but did not perform well on the case studies. If I apply again this coming September, would they give me another shot? Or would they blacklist me because I didn't make it the first time?Also, are my chances a lot slimmer because I'm not applying through campus recruitment? Or if I practice hard over the summer, I can have a decent shot at MBB/OW/DC/Monitor again?Thanks a lot for your help!

Case interviews are all about practice. The fact that you didnt make it based on case interviews may (but likely not) blacklist you on the subsequent rounds. Recruiters understand case interviews is a skill that can be bettered with practice and if thats what tanked you the first time, they will assume you are much better prepared this time around.

Let's face it - once you've missed campus recruiting at the undergrad level, your best bet would be the MBA (for top consultancies anyway). That being said, many do take the MBA path to enter strategy consulting, so this is definitely a viable route.

Join an industry grad scheme and apply to MC as experienced hire in 2-3 years...Worked for me...
