After two years in the game, I've decided enough is enough - I just can't do it anymore - I need to get out of consulting. Powerpoint, pointless client initiatives and the wishy-washy stuff that I've been up to are no good for me long term - I have no aspiration to get to the top of this game! So my question is, where can i go with my experience? Does anyone know of friends/colleagues etc..that have left the industry after two years (from grad) to pursue other paths? FYI - I work as a generalist in a Big 4 consultancy and have done since graduating. Redbrick uni, 2.1, all the usual stuff etc...Thanks in advance

Green Dotter - I work in the same company as u, as a grad (Analyst). Do your suggested examples only suggest good entry routes if you have experience in those industries?? (I work in Operations, and am concerned about my exit options!!)

getting out, your situation is not unique: there are a lot of graddies that join big 4 consulting outfits, only to join industry firms after 2-3 years.This is quite normal. Most of the bigger industry will see your big 4 experience favorably...
