Hello everybody.I am looking to move to consultancy after 7 yrs experience both in manufacturing and service sector working in Procurement.I have had already 2 interviews Atos who wants me to go to the second and final and KPMG (still waiting feedback) and waiting from Mck to confirm the date for the 1st interview.I have an MBA but not from a top business school.BCG and BAH have replied declining my application and I am still waiting from ATK and Bain.What would you suggest the best move would be for me?I like working in Procurement and Supply Chain but I would also like to expand my skills in strategy and marketing.What do you think would be the starting salary for someone in a similar position and background?Thanks in advance for your help.

I moved from industry to consulting a few years ago. Not worked for Atos so cannot comment. However I did work for Capgemini. They have a good Supply Chain practice and I found the culture good and the people helpful to a content rich new boy who was not versed in the dark arts of consultancy. May be worth giving them a go.
