Hi,I’m trying to do my research on AT Kearney, Europe based, and been looking through the threads on the forum and there doesn’t seem to be much input from actual ATK consultants / insiders although quite a few questions about the firm. Could anyone from the firm, or recently there, give an honest opinion and suggest if it’s a good time to be in ATK? Any information around training / development and culture? Any info at all would be appreciated.Thank you

It's been 4 years since I worked at the firm as an associate. When I was there, morale was terrible, bonuses were non-existant (except for top 5% of performers) and project work was almost exclusively strategic sourcing. I have heard that since the MBO, morale and comp has been much better. 2006 was a stellar year for the firm and I've heard 2007 will be OK (but not as good as 06). Can't speak to training - when I was there, it was cut completely to save $$, and I have no insight into whether or not it has been resurrected.Overall, morale and comp is probablyon par with similar firms, but probably still doing a lot of sourcing, since any VPs/Partners who could do anything else left during the dark days.

Thanks ATKer, much appreciated - any current consultants at Kearney that could shed some light? Good to hear the compensation and morale is up!

The Kearney vault forum has a few recent posts - the firm sounds good and better than it was a few years ago like the ex-ATKer said. Sounds like their too busy to come on these forums (i don't work there!), hope this is useful

Hi, I'm an ATK'er Europe based. Now there for 2 years. Started as a business analyst and recently promoted to associate. The firm is on a very good path since the MBO. High utilization, nice projects, good compensation & benefits. Good luck.

Hi P,Your post was really interesting – could you share a bit more? How tough is it to move up to Associate level from analyst and is there any chance of further education at ATK?ThanksJ
