It's named after the two founders, one of them is Outron (who is still there), other one's name began with 'C' (he isn't there anymore). The second C stands for 'and Company'.Now LEK I have no idea.

As above, named after the founders, though more colloqually known as "Oxford and Cambridge Consultants" due to it's biased recruitment leanings, however, clearly this name was given by the great unwashed as they got the "and" in the wrong place.
